Patchwork and Quilting for Beginners Class
In this one-day class, we will be learning how to plan and put together a quilt, studying the techniques and terminology used by quilters. We will cover making a block, sandwiching and basting our quilt and binding the edges. By the end of the class you will have a number of sample pieces to take home.
This class is limited to six people.
The class starts at 9.30am and finishes around 2.30pm. Lunch is not included. You need not bring anything for this class but you might like to bring a pencil, paper and a sewing machine. These will be provided if you don’t have them.
This class is suitable for a beginner sewist and upwards, looking to extend their skill set. This class is not suitable for an absolute beginner who has never sewn.
