Liberty of London rightfully holds a reputation for the most beautiful lawn cotton fabrics. As well as designs exclusive to Liberty, they also take inspiration from William Morris.
Lawn cloth or lawn is a fine plain weave textile, made chiefly of cotton. It has a high thread count and a silky texture to it. It drapes beautifully meaning it is perfect for summer dressmaking but also lends itself to quilting and voile style curtains.
