Join us making this gorgeous shirt dress over the course of five weeks. The dress will be perfect for Spring and you have the opportunity to learn lots of new skills on the way. We will start off by cutting the pattern to size and selecting a fabric. We then assemble the dress, fitting it on the way. By the end of the course, you will have a finished dress to take home as well as a pattern for your size.

Learn to make lined curtains in this one day course. We will be making a professionally finished sample sized curtain (approx 100cm x 100cm).
Sensational Curtain Making
In this one-day course, we will be getting to grips with jersey and knit fabrics. Learn how to set up your machine and what types of needles are suitable for stretch fabrics. We will be cutting our jersey with confidence,  sewing seams and hems and setting in a neckline.
Learn to Sew with Jersey Fabrics
In this class, we start with learning to thread our sewing machines and how to control them. Once everyone is feeling more confident, we will cover basic tasks like sewing in a straight line, turning over a hem, sandwiching fabrics together, how to pin and cut your fabrics. We plan to tackle a simple project for you to take home, such as a cushion cover. By the end of the course, you should have mastered the basics of machine sewing.

The beginners sewing evening class is designed to give you the basics of sewing in a fun and friendly environment. Over the course of five weeks, we will be learning the basics of machine sewing and creating a project to develop our new skills. We will also cover basic sewing techniques like taking up a hem, interfacing, setting in zips and much more.

In our after school sewing club, we will be tackling a new project each week to encourage a love of the needle and thread. We will be covering sewing with felt, embroidery, machine sewing and much more.
Kids' After School Club
Learn the basics of making a pattern in this one-day course held in Ipswich. You will be taught how to create a pattern from scratch, adding the appropriate markings to ensure success. We will also be turning our hands to grading (increasing/decreasing) a commercial pattern to be certain that everything you make in the future fits first time and finally, taking a pattern from an existing garment.

Join us in this one day course to start your patchwork and quilting skills. We will be exploring the lingo of patchwork and quilting to demystify it and to increase your confidence. We will be enjoying both hand and machine patchworking before quilting a project to take home. By the end of the class you will have lots of samples of different styles to get you started on bigger projects.

We will be measuring, designing and making a sample blind to take home. Our sample blinds are approx 100cm x 50cm in size and designed to be for refernece purposes. A handout will also be available after the class for future use.

If you are finding your clothes are not quite fitting properly with gaping necklines or arm holes, then a bust adjustment may be just what you need to learn. This class is perfect for anyone finsing their clothes are not fitting as they expected. We will be learning how to redraft your patterns with your correct measurements, ensuring a perfect fit everytime.
